According to eVisitor data, in January 2026, the city of Trogir recorded a total of 520 arrivals, 1,732 overnight stays, and 668 tourists. The average length of stay was 3.33 days, which confirms stable interest in the destination even in the winter period.

Foreign guests continue to play a key role in overall tourism. During January, they achieved 314 arrivals, 1,367 overnight stays and 441 tourists, accounting for 60.38% of total arrivals and 78.93% of total overnight stays. Domestic tourists recorded 206 arrivals, 365 overnight stays and 227 tourists, accounting for 39.62% of arrivals and 21.07% of overnight stays. Interestingly, foreign guests stayed an average of 4.35 days, while the average stay of domestic guests was 1.77 days, further emphasizing the importance of foreign markets for overall results.

The majority of arrivals and overnight stays were achieved from the domestic market, which remains the most represented. Among foreign markets, Bosnia and Herzegovina stands out with 46 arrivals and 222 overnight stays, Germany with 28 arrivals and 123 overnight stays, Japan with 34 arrivals, Serbia with 19 arrivals and 64 overnight stays, and Albania with 15 arrivals and 95 overnight stays. A significant contribution to tourist traffic was also made by guests from the United States of America, Austria, France, Norway, Italy, and Poland, which confirms the diversity of the source markets.

Looking at the accommodation structure, the largest share of overnight stays was recorded in household facilities, where 1,085 overnight stays were recorded, with 207 arrivals and 316 tourists. Hotels recorded 268 arrivals, 433 overnight stays, and 290 tourists, while non-commercial forms of accommodation and other hospitality facilities together achieved a smaller but noticeable share in total traffic.

Most guests come to Trogir individually. Individual arrivals accounted for 437 arrivals, with 1,592 overnight stays and 576 tourists, while agency arrivals recorded 83 arrivals, 140 overnight stays and 92 tourists. This structure of arrivals confirms the trend of independent travel planning and guests‘ flexibility in choosing a destination.

The overall results of tourist traffic in January 2026 confirm that Trogir maintains its attractiveness outside the main tourist season. The high share of foreign guests, the longer average length of stay and the strong share of individual arrivals indicate stable demand and the potential for further development of year-round tourism in the city.
