Situated on the eastern side of the Čiovo island, Slatine is one of the quietest and oldest place in this area. About a 25-minute journey from the Dalmatian capital ( Split ) by boat, Slatine is a small village built around harbour by fishermans just 8 km from Trogir. The area is lined with pebbled and stone beaches, pinewoods and open sports facilities for active ones. A real gem of Slatine is church and monastery Lady of Prizidnica located around 4 km from the haret of the village. Monastery and church are built 1546. on the high stone cliffs above the sea. Really peaceful oasis worth to visit.
